Hydrating Breast Mask
A perfect ritual for re-hydrating and moistening breast tissue.
If there’s an end of summer re-hydration ritual that everyone woman needs, it’s the hydrating breast mask. As much as the sun and sea water are incredibly healing and rejuvenating, these elements also quite drying. Most of us aren’t in the habit of drinking enough water or oiling our skin on a daily basis. Maintaining healthy, hydrated breast tissue (and skin) helps keep the lymph flowing, reduces congestion, eliminates toxins and help oxygenate and circulate nutrients.
The lymph is made of 95% water and when it becomes de-hydrated, lymphatic congestion starts to occur and toxins start to accumulate. This is especially important in breast tissue.
Here are some easy ways to stay hydrated:
According to Ayurveda, sipping warm, purified water helps keep dehydration at bay.
Add some himalayan/sea salt to your water to help increase absorption
Oil your skin daily
Keep your adrenals strong and healthy. Adrenal fatigue is strongly correlated with dehydration.
Stress and woman’s menstrual cycle both increase the need for hydration.
