Herbal Series • Nettle (Urtica Dioica)
Nettle is one of my favourite herbs and an incredibly nourishing tonic. It has a wonderful earthy flavour and supports the body’s response to stress. There’s nothing this herb doesn’t do. It’s commonly used to stimulate hair growth and promote clear, healthy skin. If you suffer from any skin issue, I can’t recommend this herb enough. I’ve witnessed rashes, spots and redness completely disappear.
Of all the things I’ve studied in the past several years, herbalism has been of the most interesting areas of health I’ve explored. And I’ve only scratched the surface. Plants possess an intelligence far beyond human comprehension, and as I experiment with a variety of herbal remedies, I’m always amazed at how supportive, nourishing and healing they are.
